The soil of the first two is characterized by red sandstone, loam, clay, limestone and, in some places, loess, while volcanic rocks also occur in the area around Forst. After harvest, the individual batches were pressed and fermented separately in cooled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness, and then matured in the same place with a short drying time. Apples, peaches, exotic fruits, lime and grapefruit, complemented by mild fermentation carbonation. A typical Palatinate Riesling, with fine fruit, elegant acidity and a gripping minerality.
